What did your street look like in 1971?
This is one original map page from the 36th edition of the Gregory's Sydney Street Directory published in July 1971. Before digital maps and talking directions, one of these was essential in every car.
The page features:
Map 12: Kensington, Kingsford, Randwick Racecourse, UNSW on one side
Map 13: Waverton, Wollstonecraft, Greenwich, Birchgrove on the other side
There is only one of these pages per directory with suburbs on both sides. Page measures 15cm x 24cm (approx the size of a large ipad.). Pictures of cover and title page are for context only and those pages are not included, only the one page map.

The colour on these old directories is vivid due to the printing techniques of the time. They would frame beautifully for a new house gift, house warming, welcome to the neighbourhood or if you are simply missing home.
