Wooden Tasmanian candle holder - hand carved natural wood candle stand or dried flower holder - Australiana - 70s or 80s
This is a hand made wooden block with a central flute that allows a dried flower or branch to be held. It may have once held a glass test tube style holder (now missing). Could also hold a slim candle.
It is made from such beautiful wood that it stands on its own as a decorative item. Made from a light blonde wood, it appears to have some water staining at the bottom but the look does not detract from the overall design.
Vase measures 17 cm high and 4.5 cm wide. Made in Tasmania from Tasmanian woods.
